Sunshine and Lollypops...

You can thank Emmalee and her wonderful singing for the journal title... ear plugs are a must when taking a class with her...

... but now down to buisness... I haven't updated my da page for ages, and saddly enough I don't have anything scanned into my computer to up date right now, but I figured I could at least change my old boring journal entry that's been up there for ages... now if I could only find something worth while to talk about...

I'm finally taking another art class!!... that's always a good thing last semester I was going crazy with the lack of space to get any art work done... even now with taking an art class and all I still don't have enough room for all my art projects...

I've gone back to doing several watercolors and I'm sure my roommates ready to kill me after all the times I've left all my work spread out all over our dorm room floor... but she's been a good sport!! :)

I went art crazy over winter break when I was able to go home and work in my studio again... boy, do I miss that stuffy and cramped room... I started another oil painting titled "The Guardian of Eternal Silence"... you'll just have to wait and see it when I'm done with it... if I ever finish it that is... hopefully I will... I think it's well on it's way to becoming one of my best pieces of work... I can't wait to go home and work on it again!!

I also started an insane wall painting project over the winter break... that ended up being a major disaster... trust me never try to paint a pattern in dark red paint on your white bedroom wall without planing it out before hand or haveing a basic idea about what your going to do... not a good idea... I learned the hard way... I'll also have to post a few pictures of that mess just for your own amusement... I used deep reds and golds and created a sort of ancient Egyptian pattern... it's not all to bad... but you'll have to judge that for yourself...

humm... that about covers it... this was a really boring and pointless journal entry, but I hope you found it amusing enough to read anyways...

Hope you are all doing well and I do enjoy looking at all of your work even though I don't update myself...

Oh... those were the days... Let me tell you I haven't come across a funner or more inspiering art class yet... and poor old Amy... I still don't understand why we bothered her so much... she was pretty creepy though... I bet she was part Lepracon... ( and I totaly spelled that wrong, but you get it the little green people) :shamrock:
